Folkestone parkrun takes place every Saturday at 9am. These free 5km timed events welcome all abilities. Bring the whole family including the dog and enjoy a walk, jog or run around the park. If you don't fancy running, then you can always volunteer and help cheer everyone on!

parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed community events that are open to everyone. There are 24 parkruns and 13 junior parkruns across Kent & Medway.

Active 10 Walking Routes – Folkestone

Everyday Active have developed 10 walking routes that can be enjoyed from the centre of Kent and Medway’s largest towns. Each route consists of at least one “Active 10”, and – because each one starts from a town centre – is designed to fit around your daily life.

Folkestone is a lovely seaside town, with its beaches and harbour, and town centre with pedestrianised shopping streets. The seafront provides plenty of opportunities for a walk.
