The Couch to Fitness programme gives people the chance to gain confidence and improve their own fitness from home, over the course of nine weeks. The programme is run by Our Parks, a community fitness group dedicated to ensuring that easy, barrier free access to quality exercise is available to everyone.
The programme is free, and just requires a quick and simple sign-up process so that you can access the workout videos, and so that Our Parks can help by tracking your progress and keeping you motivated. The plan involves three video sessions a week, with rest days in between, and a different schedule for each of the nine weeks of the programme. Each video class is hosted by three different coaches, all working at different energy levels. So if you need to take it easy, you can, but if you want to push yourself, there’s a coach who’s really going for it!
