Stile free walking trails are suitable for a wide range of users including those in mobility scooters and families with younger children or for those who prefer flatter surfaces with no stiles or gates.
The following stile free routes in Kent are perfect for the whole family to walk together and enjoy the Kent countryside no matter what your age or ability. Some trails follow hard surfaced paths over gently rolling hills offering spectacular views, others have sensory gardens with plant life providing colour, scent, texture, shape and sound and one will even lead you through tree lined parkland once part of an 18th century mansion visible through the trees.
Please be mindful that these stile free routes are located in the countryside and the path surfaces can be adversely affected by poor weather conditions. Certain routes may be better suited for wheelchairs with wider wheels, as they can handle the terrain more easily compared to other wheelchairs. We encourage you to read about the trails, and to assess them if you feel confident in completing them yourself.
So why not get out and explore all of the fantastic easy access trails that Kent has to offer? Take a look at the links below to start exploring the trails.
