Sunday Fun for Young Runners

Every Sunday morning across Kent, children aged 4 to 14 lace up their trainers and take part in junior parkrun – a free, friendly, and inclusive 2km event designed just for them. These weekly runs are all about fun, fitness, and community, with no pressure to compete—just encouragement to enjoy being active outdoors.

What is Junior parkrun?

Junior parkrun is a 2km timed run held every Sunday, specifically for children aged 4 to 14. It’s completely free to join, but participants must register once on the parkrun website and bring a scannable barcode to receive a time.
