Save this item - "David and Satish’s Story"We caught up with David and Satish who attend tmactive’s Active Communities Walking Cricket sessions at the Angel Centre in Tonbridge. They share why they enjoy walking cricket and how the sessions are helping them to keep active and make new friends.
David said “It’s so relaxed. So easy, it’s such good fun. I’ve never played cricket in my life. This is the first time I’ve picked up a bat so if I can do it and enjoy it, I’m absolutely certain that anybody can.”
Satish told us “I love cricket. I’ve played cricket most of my life, but of course at a certain age it’s difficult. You do as much as you can as there’s no pressure. We are not out, we can still keep trying.”
Thank you to tmactive, Kent Cricket Foundation and all the participants for allowing us to film the session.
If you would like to give walking cricket a go but don’t know where or how to start, take a look at the pages below. Please seek medical advice if you’re unsure about exercising with an existing health condition.
