Walking Cricket has been developing across the UK over the last 10 years, with the aim to make cricket accessible for all ages and abilities. It is still the traditional game but has been adapted to a slower paced version. It is also played with a softer ball and is played indoors or outdoors. The game allows every participant to move around and have a go as well as score and umpire, providing both mental and physical activity.

In partnership with Kent Cricket Community Trust, Medway Sport are offering free Walking Cricket and Tea sessions this summer.

When: Every Thursday, 1pm – 3pm.

Where: Strood Sports Centre, Humber Crescent, Strood, Kent, ME2 2DX

Cost: Free

All abilities welcome, tea and biscuits to follow. Get involved and join them for a game and a friendly social each week.
