Explore Kent logo

Explore Kent is part of Kent County Council, working with public, private and voluntary sector partners.

They promote walking routes around the county such as the England Coastal Path, the Darent Valley Path or Saxon Shore Way; encouraging Kent’s residents to access, enjoy and benefit from the great natural resources that Kent has to offer. The walking routes range from easy access routes for the whole family to more challenging routes for the more established rambler.

As well as walking, Explore Kent is passionate about exploring the many cycle paths in Kent such as the River Medway Towpath as well as off road cycling at places like Bedgebury Pinetum and the chalk slopes at Perry Woods in Faversham.

Explore Kent offers fantastic resources and information about our beautiful Kent coastline; such as where the best places are to walk, swim, picnic and take stunning photography and these are evidenced in the fun and exciting blogs that many Kent residents and organisations have written.
