Wild with Wheels provides free, safe and accessible routes in Kent for guided, interactive nature walks for people with disabilities and impairments.

We welcome adults and children who are wheelchair and mobility scooter users. Our nature walks are also suitable for people with:

  • mobility limitations
  • chronic illnesses & hidden disabilities
  • hearing/sight impairments
  • neurodiverse / learning disabilities
  • mental health challenges
  • emotional and sensory needs
  • older people
  • lone new parents
  • non verbal or ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Language) students

These guided walks offer engagement, inspiration, and greater awareness of the local countryside. Such experiences are too often inaccessible to the disabled community. We customise the length, location, and skill level of the walks. All walks are adequately tried and tested for mobility aids and equipment such as wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

Our routes include:

  • Flat smooth terrain with easy access and regular resting points
  • Off road conditions with more challenging terrain for people with suitable mobility aids or who prefer a longer walk.

We offer 1:1 or 2:1 support for higher needs. Our maximum size group is 12 people.
