Walking Tennis for Wellbeing

Delivered by Net Gain Communities CIC and Infinity Tennis

Funded by Sport England’s Movement Fund

Walking Tennis is a fun, friendly and accessible version of tennis designed for older adults, complete beginners, people returning to sport after injury and those with long term health conditions.

The game is played at a slower pace, with no running or jumping required, making it a fantastic way to stay active, improve physical and mental wellbeing and meet new people.

Thanks to a £11,792 award from Sport England’s Movement Fund, we are delighted to offer FREE Walking Tennis activities for over a year across Ramsgate and Whitstable.

Our programme includes two opportunities:

Intro to Walking Tennis: A FREE four week course introducing participants to the rules, techniques and tactics of Walking Tennis. No previous experience is necessary and all equipment is provided.

Walking Tennis Social: A friendly 90 minute session where participants can enjoy games, practise their skills and socialise with others, supported by a qualified coach.
