Walking Silent Disco for people smoking or vaping to reduce stress

Thanet District Council are working in partnership with NHS ONE YOU and Active Kent & Medway to offer free 6-week wellbeing courses to people who are currently smoking or vaping to learn new ways to reduce stress and help them to feel more ready to quit.

This course is suitable for beginners and will be taught by Sorcha Page. We will meet at the Blue Health Improvements container opposite the football pavilion.

Sunday 10 am – 12pm, Starting 14th September – 19th October

Adults and Teenagers who are smoking or vaping are welcome to join this free course.

This class will be a fun way to start walking and jogging to reduce stress and to meet other people to meet up with to help you give up smoking or vaping.

Wheelchair, mobility scooter users, and children in buggies or pushchairs are very welcome to join in this session.

Non-smokers are welcome to join this session if supporting someone who is smoking or vaping to attend this session, but they will need to book a space on the course.
