All are welcome to The Wellbeing Café

St. Justus Church are very aware that the pandemic has affected many people’s mental health and have developed their Wellbeing Cafe as a community space with a specific wellbeing emphasis, which meets every Thursday from 2pm – 4pm.

Health Walk

As part of the Wellbeing Café, St Justus Church have partnered with Medway Council to start a new Health Walk.

Where: From St Justus Church, The Fairway, Rochester ME1 2LT

When: Thursdays, gathering at 1.45.  The walk will be a 45 minute circular route with tea and coffee served back at St Justus.

Cost: There is no charge, a donations box is available for the refreshments.

Monthly Activities, rotating as follows:

Week 1: Health Walk

Week 2: Craft Sharing Session- bring your own craft, share with others and learn a new skill

Week 3: Health Walk and Greenfingers Gardening Project

Week 4: Guest speaker

Tods (Children)

Giving pre-school children an opportunity to develop social skills and play in a spacious area with a wide range of toys, ending with a time of singing.

When: Monday afternoons, 1pm – 2:30pm, and Thursday mornings 9.30am – 11am during term time only.

Café Plus

This is a community space where you can have refreshments, play games such as table tennis or chess and Rummikub, knit, or just sit and have a natter. It is designed by the community for the community.

When: Every Tuesday from 10.30am – 12.30pm

Cost: There is no charge, a donations box is available for the refreshments.

Week 1: Quiz

Week 2: Social Bingo

Week 3: Melody Cafe (Community Singalong)

Week 4: Chat
