Nordic walking is a great way to keep active. Walking with poles engages the upper body, improves core strength and helps with stability and any joint problems. These walks also improve mental wellbeing, socialising in the fresh air, whilst taking in your surroundings and nature.
The walks take place in Thanet and in the Sandwich and Deal areas, and are led by qualified nordic walking instructors. Beginner friendly nordic walking courses take place throughout the year with a capacity of 10 participants.
