Margate Contemporary Dance – Open level contemporary dance class for adults

An encouraging, non-judgmental, camera free space to discover your own movement style in a relaxed group setting. Combining contemporary dance technique and improvisation, we will explore expressive movement, helping to unleash your creativity. These sessions are for anyone who would like to explore the creative potential of their body, with others, through gentle tasks, taught phrases, and structured improvisations. You will be invited to connect inwards to your sensations, breath, feelings and imagination, and outwards to others through guided movement prompts. You can expect great tunes, soft melodies, dad dancing, and lots of lying down to take it all in.

When: Day, Time – Autumn Term: Tues 13th Oct to Tues 8th Dec – 6:00pm to 7:15pm

Where: ARK Cliftonville, Albion Road, Cliftonville, CT9 2HP

Cost: Term and session options available, plus pay what you can and pay it forward options at point of payment.
