Pilates
Pilates is a very effective way to improve the posture and therefore helping to remove any postural related pain within the body. There is a big focus on posture, breathing, balance and co-ordination. Not only will Pilates improve your strength, flexibility and tone of muscles, but it will also reduce stress and generally improve well-being.The classes are kept small to allow the instructor to check everyone is doing the movements correctly and safely. If mobility is a problem, the techniques can be adapted and the use of a chair or similar to help people up and down from the floor can easily be arranged. If you do not like to exercise in a class environment, 1-2-1 sessions are available.
