People playing pickleball

Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, over a net.

Invicta Pickleball have been around for over 5 years now and they welcome new players of all abilities and all ages. They currently have players ranging from 18 to 70+ years old.  The sessions have helped quite a few with their mental health and with their overall fitness.

Lee Featherbe, the pickleball coach, told us “From the moment you start playing you are immediately hooked and want to keep playing!  If you’re up for trying an interesting new sport, then why not come and give pickleball a try?”.
