Head in the Game offer football sessions that are saving lives. Head In The Game gives men in the local community the chance to come together and enjoy the beautiful game. Their sessions are free and for men between the ages of 18-55 of ANY footballing ability.

Weekly Free Drop-In Sessions

Head in the Game facilitates free weekly drop-in Football sessions in Maidstone and Thanet, with the overarching aim of reducing male suicide.

The drop-in sessions are aimed at encouraging men to open up and talk using football as a way of starting those sometimes difficult conversations.The weekly run sessions are for men between the ages of 18-55 years old with any footballing ability. The sessions are supported by experienced football and talking therapy coaches. Each drop-in session has a focus on men’s mental health and wellbeing, providing an outlet to talk in a secure and trusted environment. For more information please click on the link below:

6 Week and 12 Week Programmes

Head in the Game also run 6 and 12 week programmes with a more focused approach to mental health and wellbeing support. These sessions are run at various times throughout the year.

HEAD IN THE GAME Programmes

Each session consists of two football drills, a short sided match and a talking therapy session. Please bring boots/astros (and some sportswear) as all sessions take place on 3G pitches, shin pads are optional.
