Gentle exercise is designed for older people and people who are physically less able. The sessions are run by a qualified trainer, who makes the classes fun, safe and friendly. The classes are a great way to meet people, chat, laugh and enjoy a weekly get-together. The groups are very friendly and always welcome new people.

There are two weekly sessions, each designed for people with different levels of abilities. No experience is needed to take part in these classes.

Ready Steady Go Class

Ready Steady Go is a beginner’s gentle exercise class. The majority of the class is chair-based. The session aims to help improve balance, stability, flexibility and breathing.

When: Every Wednesday, 12pm – 1pm

Venue: The Grand Healthy Living Centre, The Methodist Community Centre, Wilfred Street, Gravesend, DA12 2RE

Cost: £4 per person per session (payable on the day to the Instructor Sarah)

Seniors Get Active Class

This is an intermediate level class, including a circuit of fun activities to take part in.

When: Every Thursday, 10.30am – 11:30am

Venue: NWK CrossFit gym, Brewhouse Yard via Queen Street, Gravesend, DA12 2EJ

Cost: £4 per person per session (payable on the day to the Instructor Sarah)
