Canterbury Bowling Club

What could be nicer than playing a social or competitive game of bowls on a pleasant summer’s day? Made even better when you are playing on a superb green (and we have two of those) surrounded by wonderfully maintained gardens and excellent parking facilities.

Come and join us, age is no bar to playing this sport. We provide all the initial equipment that you will need as a beginner, and we will give you free coaching. We will not rush you; you can proceed at your own pace. We want you to enjoy your time at the Club.

We have many other activities throughout the year. You can play bridge, snooker, short mat bowls or line dance in our superbly equipped clubhouse. We have a modern bar/kitchen and a range of social events.
