Buggyfit fitness classes for mums and babies are an hour long and involve warm up exercises, often a power walk, a whole-body strength and conditioning section and a core workout, finishing with stretches. All sections have modifications and progressions to ensure everyone gets their own personal workout.

The following activities and classes are open to new mums plus parent and child.
Whatever your postnatal stage, these buggyfit classes are delivered by experts in the field of postnatal exercise. From initial recuperation in your first six weeks to achieving new levels of fitness – all from behind your buggy or pram!
Venue: Hoo Sports Centre
When: Every Wednesday 1pm to 2pm (meet at Pottery Road Rec).
This Girl Can – Parent and Baby Yoga
Venue: Strood Gym
When: Every Saturday
- Mum and baby yoga (up to 1 year): 9.45am to 10.15am
- Mum and child yoga (1 year to 12 years): 10.30am to 11am
This Girl Can – Parent and Child (ages 5 & up) Circuit Class
Venue: Medway Park
When: Every Thursday 5:30pm to 6.15pm (held in old hall and health zone).
