Walking & Running at Betteshanger

Our former spoil heap provides many walking options both in the open and through woodland. A popular route takes in our picturesque blue lake, where you’ll spot countless dragonflies skipping over its surface during the summer months. From the top of the Park, you’ll get panoramic views towards Sandwich and its world-renowned golf courses, Ramsgate and the Thanet Offshore Windfarm. Dogs are also welcome on a lead.

For Runners, we have a range of organised races and fun runs taking place throughout the year, including Saxon, Vikings & Normans Marathons, KM Colour Run and the annual Kent Christmas Cracker.
