Group walking in the Kent countryside

Would you like to walk in the great outdoors, but struggle because of your back, knees, or hips, a health condition or injury? Nordic walking could be the perfect way for you to take up walking.

Sheppey’s Beginners Nordic Walking Sessions are the perfect option for anyone who is living with a health condition or has mobility issues that might make it hard to walk unassisted.

We say “No Journey is to small”. Everyone works at their own pace.

We chat and laugh, whilst also encouraging and supporting one another to get better and fitter. The walks are a friendly, social occasion, and they always finish with a cup of tea and a biscuit!

Groups are run daily but booking is essential. If you would like to rediscover the joy of walking again or just want to start being more active and love the idea of doing it outdoors, give Julie a call.

Walk Details:

  • Beginners Class – Monday at 10:00am from the Healthy Living Centre, £2 per class
  • Progression Class – Thursday at 10.00am from the Healthy Living Centre, £2 per class
