A core aim of Run Swim Sauna is to implement the community sauna and the immediate space around it — the home of Beachfit — as a recognised blue health space. By meeting there daily, moving through it together, and using it with intention and respect, the club helps define the area as a place for wellbeing, connection, and recovery, accessible to everyone.

Run Swim Sauna embraces the growing use of the community sauna and tidal pool as shared environments for everyday health. These spaces are treated not as amenities, but as vital public resources that support physical resilience, mental clarity, and social connection.

At its heart, the club is about showing up together. Regular movement, shared routines, and mutual respect build trust over time. You don’t just attend for your own fitness — you help shape a healthier, more connected community simply by being present.

As Beachfit continues to evolve, the focus remains on blue health, public access, and long-term sustainability. With 2026, the Year of the Horse, as motivation, the approach is steady and collective — building strength, endurance, and forward movement together.

Run Swim Sauna is not loud or performative. It’s consistent, accessible, and shared. ☮️

Run Swim Sauna is a new blue health fitness club rooted in access, consistency, and community — and it reflects the clear direction Beachfit is moving toward.

Every Monday to Friday, we meet at the community sauna at 8am. The sauna stove is lit just before we head out together for a 5k group run, held at a steady 6km pace. This is not about speed or performance, but about moving together in a way that is sustainable and inclusive.

We return from the run as the sauna opens at 9am, stepping straight into a strict quiet, meditative sauna session. This time is focused on stillness and breathwork — a chance to slow the nervous system, recover, and reset. Conversation pauses. The heat does the work.

After the sauna, we swim in the tidal pool and continue to sauna together, using cold and heat as simple, effective tools for physical recovery and mental clarity.
