Dover is a bustling port town with plenty of history and the advantage of superb walking routes nearby along the famous White Cliffs. There are also walks to be enjoyed the seafront, with the promenades and marina offering great spots to explore and take in the sea views.
This Active 10 walking route is 1.3 miles long in its entirety, consisting of between two and three complete Active 10s if you walk the whole route. However, feel free to walk as little or as much of the route as you feel able to.
From Dover town centre, take Cannon Street towards the seafront, turn right onto King Street and then continue onto Bench Street. Pass under Townwall Street and continue on to Waterloo Cfescent, turning right to walk along the seafront. Walk up to the marina and then back along the seafront, returning to where you started.
