Skateboarding Beginner Sessions at The Julie Rose Stadium

Come learn the basics of skateboarding and have a blast trying something new! Ready to learn how to skateboard?

Join our FREE Beginner Skateboarding Sessions and build your confidence in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.What You’ll Learn:

• Skateboard safety and basic equipment
• Balance and board control
• Pushing, stopping, and turning

Whether you’re stepping on a skateboard for the first time or looking to improve your basic skills, these sessions are the perfect place to start!

The session will take place at the Julie Rose Stadium MUGA and will be delivered by Team Rubicon’s qualified instructors.

Skateboards and safety equipment will be provided, so no need to bring your own! The event will be delivered by qualified instructors from Team Rubicon and has been funded by Ashford Borough Council.

What to wear and bring

Suitable clothing and footwear must be worn such as trainers. Please do not wear sandals or any open toed footwear.

As we will be outdoors, please come prepared for the weather conditions on the day. Depending on the forecast, you may need a sun hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
