Saturday Football Club
- 9 – 9.45am Tots and Parents, preschoolers £2 per child
- 10 – 11am children age 5-13, suggested £2 per child
We run a Saturday morning Football Club – this is run by Harry and his helpers Logan and Sophie. We have a Tots & Parents session for children age 3-5 at 9am til 9.45am, suggested £2 per child, and then we welcome 6-13 year olds at 10-11am, suggested £2 per child, for training and a match. The cafe is open for drinks and light snacks (sweets and sometimes bacon sarnies!)
There’s no need to book these sessions, just turn up! We have spare boots and shin pads too, please ask if you need any. And we now have our very own Pavilion Football Club official T-shirt! £5 each (children’s sizes).
Enquire at the cafe for more details, or on our Instagram @pavilion.fc, or call Victoria on 07963 226275.
1-2-1 Football Training Sessions
Harry also runs 1-2-1 football training sessions after school during the week – please contact him direct on 07731 867044

Football Tournament
Harry has been organising a big event which is now approaching fast – our Football Tournament on Saturday 25th July, 10am-12pm.
Teams are being created, plus we’ll have side shows (face-painting, tombola, our Pavilion FC t-shirts for sale, and light refreshments). Please come along and support us!
Summer Holiday Club
Our Summer Holiday Club is also coming up – we start on Tuesday 28th July and will open 3 days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 12-4pm, with our last extra day being Friday 28th August when we celebrate everyone’s achievements.
This club is primarily for children holding HAF vouchers – you will have received your email by now inviting you to book via the Holiday Activities website. Search for The Zone Youth Club @ The Pavilion.
For those who aren’t eligible for HAF, of course you are still more than welcome! A daily donation towards our costs would be much appreciated.
We’ll be providing a wide range of activities – sports, games, music, cooking, art, crafts, and a cooked lunch for every child attending. Parents are required to stay and supervise children under age 10, and we have light refreshments available to buy.
We are also able to signpost/refer/support any family who may be struggling – either financially, emotionally, physically…..just have a quiet word and we’ll do our best to help.
Community Cafe
We re-started the youth club, but as an after school youth café – three times a week. We have become a very welcoming, friendly and supportive community café as well. It made sense to open in the morning, for light refreshments for the people using the park – dog walkers, joggers, parents after dropping the kids at school, elderly people…..and now we have a lovely baby and toddler family group, a group of “knit and natterers”, occasional art and craft workshops, and lots and lots of chat! We are a focal point for our local community, providing friendship, information, and whatever interesting activities we can think of.
