Three programmes for those aged 50+, lonely and in isolation, delivered by Swale CVS:

Programme 1 – (In Person) – Gentle seated and standing exercises, adapted yoga to improve flexibility, posture, core stability, and balance. Suitable for beginners and those with long-term conditions, helping participants gain confidence and feel stronger in everyday movements.

Programme 2 – Supported walks to improve mobility, stamina, and cardiovascular health while encouraging social interaction, peer support, and enjoyment. Walking in a safe, structured environment helps participants feel more confident outdoors and motivated to stay active.

Programme 3 – Fun, inclusive bowling sessions to improve coordination, grip strength, controlled movement, balance, and light aerobic activity. Highly social, these sessions reduce isolation, build friendships, and support emotional wellbeing.
