Save this itemWe caught up with John, Pearl and Sue who attended the Charing Surgery Health Coaching programme, delivered by Beginners 2 Runners. They share how running and the group has helped them physically, mentally and emotionally.
John said “I suffered from high blood pressure and when I had my health check I found that my BMI was knocking at the door of being obese. By doing this programme, after six months I’ve reached a healthy weight. I think I’ve gained a couple of years of healthy life as a result of doing this.”
Pearl shared “Sadly I lost my mum last year. I joined for a session, loved the atmosphere, loved the group. It’s helped me both mentally, physically and emotionally.”
Sue told us “I’ve been suffering from depression and this group has really helped me to turn the corner. I feel like I’m basically here because of it, so I’m very grateful.”
