Free Cycling Events – Thanet

Following our Cycling UK events in summer 2025 we have now created a Cycling UK Community Cycle Club with The Bike Shed Margate. We will be running monthly meet up rides over then Winter then will be starting more challenging rides from Spring 2026.

Our next ride is Sunday 25th January at 10.30 am from The Bike Shed at Margate train station. You can borrow a bike for the ride, the mechanics can check over your bikes before we start and we welcome any children or anyone on mobility scooters to join as well. This will be a flat beginners ride for 30 – 45 minutes on the viking trail with a stop for tea and back to the station.

A great way to meet new people to cycle with and to start your new years resolutions to get active.

It is free to join but it helps us arrange cycle leaders if you can sign up on Eventbrite:
