Physio-Led Pilates

Beginners and Mixed Ability Physio-Led Pilates matwork classes in Ashford are led by experienced Physiotherapist and APPI trained Pilates Instructor, Charlene Dodd.

The Pilates method is a mind-body centering technique emphasising the importance of beginning movement from a central core of stability and combining it with an awareness of breath, concentration, control, precision and flow. It aims to promote strength, mobility, flexibility, endurance and body awareness.

Classes take place in small groups with a maximum of 10 participants. A 1:1 is recommended prior to starting classes and is essential for any pre-existing health conditions, injuries or pain.
