Family Nature Walks at Hothfield Heathlands Ashford
Join the Kent Wildlife Trust for a fun outdoor family session combining a walk with a nature scavenger hunt. Discover wildlife, and enjoy quality time together in nature.
Suitable for all ages but please note that the walk is on unpaved ground that is uneven at times therefore not suitable for wheels.
Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Numbers are limited for safety reasons so you book tickets here if you’d like to guarantee your places
What to wear and bring
For health and safety reasons we suggest wearing closed toe shoes suitable for walking such as trainers and longer clothing to reduce the risk of insect bites. Please bring enough water to keep hydrated even if the weather is cool, there is no access to drinking water on site. As we will be outdoors, please come prepared for the weather conditions on the day. Depending on the forecast, you may need :
- A sun hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
- A waterproof coat or light rain jacket.
