⏰ 9:30am – 2pm

📍 Droit House

🎟 Free but with suggested donation (£5 to £10 per person)

Join a relaxed 3k Ride to Foreness Point led by locals.

This guided journey is perfect for connecting with the local open space and learning about the area. It’s best suited for those aged 18 and up, and will last for 4 hours. We’ll be riding on cycle paths and walking along medium-difficulty terrain, mostly on grassland paths. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather on the day (rain gear if it’s wet, sunscreen or a hat if it’s sunny!) as well as sturdy shoes! This walk will be led by Cycle and Walk Leader Tamara Campbell.

Unfortunately the cycling route is not wheelchair accessible, but please do get in touch with @maroonadventures to talk more about access.

As part of the event, the bike ride will join a walk and talk ‘Chalk Flora & Bumblebees on the coast at Foreness Point, Margate’ organised by Thanet Coast Project.

“Join a relaxed walk led by local wildlife experts around the beautiful chalk grassland of Foreness Point. Learn about the designated ‘local wildlife site’ and its management while exploring the area’s bumblebees and wildflowers.”

The wildlife talk is accessible for wheels.
