A rubbish story

It all began on a snooker table in the middle of Kieran’s garden. When a close friend questioned why he was always collecting other people’s rubbish, he challenged Kieran to fill the entire table with discarded plastic bottle lids. Confident in his mission, Kieran reckoned a year’s worth of litterpicking would do the trick.

Deary dumplings, was he wrong!

Because, just one month later, the table was covered with 1,603 lids producing a mosaic myriad of colour.

So what happened next? Did Kieran pop them all in a recycling bag for bin day? He did not. Instead, he became an artist and created Rubbish Idea.

Rubbish Idea is the umbrella brand encompassing Rubbish Snooker, Rubbish Lists (stories using discarded shopping lists), and Rubbish Workshops (for schools and corporates).
