Halloween Half Term Trail

Saturday 26th October – Sunday 3rd November

Self-led trail, available to buy from the visitor centre reception. Collect a pencil & trail to follow a given route around the park. Give yourself up to an hour to enjoy the walk. Wear suitable outdoor clothing & footwear. Prize for each completed sheet to be collected from the visitor centre. Please ensure you check closing times as this is seasonal. Usual Pay & display charges apply.

The Wiggly Wild Halloween Show

Sunday 27^th October

Join us at the Visitor Centre for a hands-on educational experience. The session offers the opportunity to meet and handle a huge variety of wiggly creatures! Led by Cairis Hickey of The Wiggly Wild Show. There will also be a display of specimens to look at and handle!. Children must be accompanied by 1 adult at all times. Maximum of 1 adult per family group. Recommended for children aged 4 and above. Head to the visitor centre on arrival to be booked in.

Halloween Fun Day

Wednesday 30^th October

Get ready for a spook-tacular time at Shorne Woods Country Park. Unearth bones with the Archaeological team, discover creepy critters while pond dipping and construct a den to outsmart monsters. You can unleash your creativity to make a spooky potion and demonstrate your scary dance moves at our Halloween party. What’s more, your tastebuds will be tingling when you eat your dessert wrap, made by yourself, and cooked on our campfire! So dig out your best Halloween costume and join us for a fang-tastic time!

£12.50 per ticket (both adults and children need tickets)

Trosley Country Park

Trosley’s Terribly Spooky Trail

Saturday 19^th October – Sunday 3^rd November

Collect your trail sheet from the café and follow the spooky clues around the park. Keep your eyes peeled for things that go bump in the night, and things that might give you a fright! Allow up to one hour to complete the trail, and make sure you return to the cafe before it closes to collect your prize. Normal parking charges apply.

Terrible Trosley

Thursday 31^st October

Come and join us for a spooktaclular forest school craft and campfire activity. Each child will have the opportunity to make some Halloween craft including a wand and a diabolical spooky potion. Please bring your own potions vessel, we will supply the ingredients. Gather around the campfire and enjoy hot chocolate, a spooky story and toast a marshmallow. Each experience is set to last 1.5 hours, The event is suitable for children aged 3 and over, all children of walking age will need a ticket, accompanying adults will need an adult ticket and will be able to enjoy a hot drink during the event.  Due to the nature of this event we may not be able to accommodate any late arrivals so please allow yourself time to park. Usual parking charges apply.
